Oleg Fomenko

Oleg Fomenko CEO, Mflow Music

Oleg was born in a small Russian town just outside of Moscow, which also doubled as a centre of Russian military aviation, in a family of a helicopter test engineer and aircraft weapons specialist. From his early days Oleg was into music, English language and technology. He played guitar when he was a kid, but for reasons that he would rather not show (and don’t ask for it, please) he had to abandon that path. Oleg has 15 years of international consumer marketing, management consulting and entrepreneurial experience. He has done time with such notable consumer goods behemoths as Pepsi-Cola, Mars/MaterFoods and Coca-Cola in ever more senior roles. He then has joined the Boston Consulting Group, had his own consulting business, worked on a number of start-up ideas and did a stint with the British Telecom. BT made him realise that start-up world is where he belongs …Oleg has left Russia in 1995 and has lived a number of years in Austria and now has been living in London for 11 years. Oleg’s music claims to fame are: getting the first CD of Nirvana’s “Never Mind” in his hometown, attending the first-ever large-scale music festival in Moscow at a tender age of 13, owning first-ever commercial MP3 player, owning the second-ever MP3 player … You see where it is going. Oleg is 36, married with 2 children of 3 and 1 and has a degree in Psychology and Sociology of Management from the State Academy of Management in Moscow.
