Chris Goss

Chris Goss Label Manager, Hospital Records Ltd

Chris Goss is half of the partnership behind the striking sound, and look of “Hospital”, one of the UK’s best loved independent record labels. Established in 1996, Hospital pioneered artist development within the genre, discovering artists such as High Contrast and Danny Byrd, and building a catalogue of artist-led album projects. Their clubnight brand “Hospitality” launched in Shoreditch in 2001, and has since grown into the award-winning brand it is today, selling out Brixton Academy to over 4500 ravers.

Chris is the label manager at Hospital, which is now a full-time team of ten staff, with warehouse, office and studio space in Forest Hill. He oversees production, manufacture and distribution, handles all art-direction, remix and production work, and is part of the 3-man A+R machine. As artist manager, Chris manages High Contrast, Danny Byrd, Netsky, and Camo+Krooked, alongside a basic management role for all the label’s signed acts. In addition to the record label and sister imprint Med School, Hospital also own Songs In The Key Of Knife Publishing and is highly pro-active in the sync-ing arena.
