Henry arted his career in independent retail (Bonaparte Records). He then moved to Phonogram Records for six years rising to product manager. He was then led to New York for 12 months to set up an export network and warehouse. From there he moved to Bullet Promotions (radio and retail promotion) for 5 years working with Madness, Wham, Depeche Mode, Erasure, UB 40. Henry set up JV with Telstar Records called Total, a third party distribution company worked with Right Said Fred, Riverdance, Space, Bitty Mclean, Rozalla. Henry set up Absolute 14 years ago – a labels services business that has worked with The Editors, Imogen Heap, Skunk Anansie, Beverley Knight, Herbie Hancock, Mcfly, Jay Sean, Hall & Oates, The Hoosiers, George Michael and a host of new acts including James Vincent McMorrow, Lisa Hannigan, Jon Allen, Foy Vance, Graffiti 6.
