What is the future for Artists career? There are fewer and fewer emerging truly global stars. Does the increasing choice the internet provides mean it is difficult for a limited number of artists to achieve scale as they did when the media outlets were more limited and less music was available? Is it harder now to achieve cut through as there are so many outlets for music and choice online while traditional media has declining audiences.
