Austin is the Music Producer at BBC 1Xtra, leading the musical direction of the station. Before 1Xtra Austin worked for BBC Radio 4 & Five Live, planning promotional campaigns and dealing with audience research. However his passion was always music and in 2006 he made the jump into the music industry and hasn’t looked back since. Austin leads a 3-piece music team that’s responsible for helping to break some of the hottest acts out now including Tinie Tempah, Jessie J and Wretch 32.
