Starting his professional career in 1991 Mazen quickly found himself in some of the most prestigious studios in the world including EMI’s 301 Studios, Australia. Being Australia’s premier studio facility, it gave Mazen the opportunity to work with Australia’s most celebrated artists and producers, as well as many from abroad. His consistent high quality output and passion for his craft resulted in Mazen also being sought after and given high profile positions in Germany and then the U.K.  Mazen now works in the U.K.’s leading mastering facility, The Metropolis Group, since being hand picked by them in 2005. Since joining the Metropolis Mastering team, Mazen has worked with a diverse list of artists including Duffy, Mika, DJ Shadow, Bjork, Muse and Robbie Williams.  His reputation for combining technology and creativity particularly in the areas of 5.1 Mastering for DVD-V, DVD-A and Super Audio CD makes him highly sought after by many prestigious international clients. Mazen is renowned for his unique style of stereo to 5.1 up-mixing as heard on projects such as The Temptations, Korn and Earth Wind & Fire.
