Mike McNally found his way into the music industry via a career in media working for the NME, Melody Maker, GQ & Virgin Radio. Joining EMI he had senior A&R and Marketing & Promotions roles across Strategic Marketing, Catalogue and the artist label imprint Liberty. He then joined the innovative management company Nettwerk as SVP of the UK label arm. Four years ago he launched McNally Consulting working with both signed and unsigned UK & International development artists. He also is on the marketing committee of AIM, a former Chair of the artist seminar UnConvention and consults and lectures for the Academy of Contemporary Music and other universities.
