Miriam O’Keeffe runs the BBC Performing Arts Fund, the BBC’s charity that provides support and development to individuals and groups across the performing arts. In the 8 years since it was set up, Miriam has overseen the awarding of over £3m worth of grants to beneficiaries including Adele, Master Shortie, Cocknbullkid and Lotek who produced Speech Debelle’s Mercury-winning album as well as grants to choirs and youth theatre groups from across the UK.
