Musion Systems, the company behind 3D holograms used by Gorillaz, Tokio Hotel, Cheryl Cole and Janet Jackson has Sanj Surati as Head of Music, to grow the company’s presence in the sector.   The company’s projection holographic system, which can be used live and in exhibition or promotional settings, has the potential to create a new revenue stream for artistes.  Cole recently used a holographic projection of Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.am in her show when the artiste could not appear with her in person, while Tokio Hotel used the effect to create a virtual tour of shopping malls, featuring a pre-recorded hologram of the band in performance.
