Stephen Budd Co-founder SuperVision Management, NH7 Festival, Africa Express

A long-term manager of artists and record producers, Stephen started life as a teenage roadie for Motorhead in the late 70’s. He formed Tortch Records in the 1980’s signing The Cardiacs, The Sound and The Big Sound Authority before inventing producer management with Arthur Baker and Tony Visconti as his first clients. Stephen co-founded SuperVision Management in 1999 (which now handles Franz Ferdinand, The Kaiser Chiefs, White Lies and The Vaccines). Personally he has represented artists as diverse as Tanita Tikaram, Heaven 17, Gang of Four, The Magic Numbers and lately, Dry the River. He also co-founded the Africa Express project with Damon Albarn, runs the NH7 Weekender Festival in India and appears on TV in a variety of guises…
