Powis Music Limited, was formed in July 2008 with the key aim to successfully “Develop Acts and Build Careers”. Run by Tim Medcraft and backed by partner Simon Platz (Bucks Music Group Ltd’s owner), Powis Music continues to work hand in hand with the acts signed by Tim during his 10 years working at Bucks while building Powis’ own roster.  Last year Powis artists sold over 1 million downloads and included Professor Green (2 top 5 hits, over 500,000 single sales, over 175,000 album sales, MOBO Best Hip Hop / Grime Act 2010, NME Award winner, BT Award winner); Wizard Sleeve (380,000 single sales); Arts & Crafts (Broken Social Scene, Timber Timbre) and many others.  He also previously signed and worked with Chase and Status, Sub Focus (via Oakden) and Joker (via Multiverse). Current signing, What Now, were recently #1 for 5 weeks in South Africa’s Rock chart.
